A happy sustainable update at The Plant Cafe Organic!
Since July 1, 2019 San Francisco has banned the use of single use plastic straws!
Since we no longer have our straws out as part of the Straw restriction, feel free to ask any of us at The Plant Cafe for a paper straw which we keep behind the counter if you need one and we will happily provide!
We also say goodbye to plastic bottled water and warmly welcome Impact Water!
Impact Water is a local San Francisco company dedicated towards their mission of “raising awareness of the plastic pollution and water crisis so that more people become conscious of their daily consumption decision”

Impact water gives a portion of their proceeds towards water.org & charitywater.org on a 50/50 basis.

High Wire Coffee - This local bay area company donates burlap coffee bags to farmers, uses coffee grounds as compost for soil, certified organic, and uses compostable material wherever possible.
Sun & Swell is one of the first snack food companies in the US to move toward eco-friendly compostable packaging. They are a Santa Barbara, California based on company, sourcing all USDA organic ingredients & giveback 1% for the planet.
Solti has a variety of superfood rich & cleansing beverages. Founded in San Diego, CA and provided in a glass bottle to protect the environment. 1% of their proceeds go toward Permaculture Planet.
