Hooray Foods is a local SF start up company that focuses on plant based bacon! At The Plant cafe, we are proud to share that we are one of the first partners to work with Hooray Foods!

You can find their vegan bacon highlighted in our avocado BLT or Vegan Deluxe Burger and it makes for an excellent side or add-on to any dish.

“Our base uses tapioca starch, rice flour, and coconut oil - that’s all.  And our flavor comes from a mushroom seasoning, maple syrup, liquid smoke, and salt.

Our bacon has less fat than that of real bacon and about the same amount of sodium.  It’s very minimally processed, and of course is always nitrite and hormone free.”
